Aveda Montessori was born from a genuine love of children and a deep belief in the Montessori approach to education — where every child is supported to grow at their own pace, with confidence and joy.

Hi, I'm Khyati Vyas, and I'm so excited to bring you an Authentic Montessori Playgroup Program designed for babies and toddlers!
As a mum of two beautiful daughters who have flourished with Montessori education, I know firsthand how powerful these early years are. But I also know how challenging it can be. When my younger daughter was born in Melbourne, far from family and friends who weren't on the same parenting journey, I felt the weight of isolation.
It was during that time I realised the importance of supporting both parents and children during the critical 0–3 years — a time when little ones build the foundation for their future.
That's why I created Aveda Montessori — a space where:

Our Teaching Philosophy
Guided by Montessori principles, we create calm and purposeful environments where children thrive.
At Aveda Montessori, we believe that children are naturally curious, capable, and driven to learn. Our role is not to teach, but to prepare an environment that invites exploration — and then to step back, observe, and gently guide.
In the first three years of life, children are building their inner world. When an adult is grounded and attentive, and the environment is calm and purposeful, children feel safe to explore, take risks, and develop a strong sense of self.
Between four and five years, children enter a sensitive period for language. When reading is presented thoughtfully and sequentially, they absorb it effortlessly — developing not only skill, but a deep love for learning.
